At Waters Edge Weddings and Events, most couples choose to host their ceremony on the beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the Brisbane River. Alternatively, if you’re worried about inclement weather, there are two light-filled ceremony spaces inside the venue. As part of your wedding package, ceremonies at Waters Edge Weddings and Events include 60 white Americana chairs, and a signing table with chairs.

Wedding receptions at Waters Edge Weddings and Events are relaxed and elegant affairs, with exquisite menus from The Fresh Collective and spectacular views of the Brisbane River. Host cocktail hour on the terrace as the sun sets, followed by dinner and dancing in either the Portside Room or the Portside and River View Room combined.

I had my ceremony and reception at Portside Events. The venue was fantastic. The layout of the ceremony was very well done. The canapés that we had were delicious and the service was flawless. We had 30 guests including ourselves, everyone commented on how well the reception went and how yummy the food was.

Amazing food and service were provided on the night of our wedding at Portside Events. Our guests were extremely happy with the variety and quality of food and beverages. The staff working that evening were very efficient and friendly with the events manager going out of his way to ensure the evening ran smoothly.
