  • Hello, I'm Jerome. I've always thought wedding photography is about story telling.

So here is a little of my story: Atelier Photography, like me, was born in Paris, France. I grew up in Montmartre and studied Professional Photography at the Speos Paris Photographic Institute. I covered weddings around Europe for many years. A few years ago I met an Australian girl and followed my heart to this sunny country. I am now enjoying shooting weddings a world away from where I started. I am located in Newcastle / Hunter Valley, NSW. I am happy to travel if the opportunity arises.

I like to approach my photos in a documentary fashion, creating a mixture of images which capture candid moments and those that are more posed. I’m a fairly quiet person by nature, and I’ve found that my camera is the best way to tell a story or create a memory.  I use both digital and film and I prefer to shoot using natural light.

My mission is to capture your wedding day in the most authentic way - unobtrusively, honestly, joyfully.

I offer several packages which can be tailored to suit your needs. I can provide options for engagements shoots, albums, prints, etc. All packages include a private online client gallery of your images.

Please have a look at my website for more of my images.

If you'd like to discuss photography for your big day, please get in touch. I'll be happy to send you over a brochue and answer any of your questions.
